NEW MAN ON BOARD: Congratulations to Sam Innes (pictured) on his appointment to the Board. As well as continuing to oversee the management and expansion of RWO’s residential structures engineering work alongside overseeing the technical compliance of designs and workflows, he will take on additional responsibilities as a Board Director. This will see him taking the residential structures lead covering new business development, team recruitment and competency training, along with contributing to planned strategic growth.

Congratulating him on his success, MD Ross Oakley enthused: “Clients will continue to benefit from his strong technical insight, excellent leadership qualities and project management experience. We are delighted to welcome him to the Board and watching his career go from strength-to-strength at RWO.”

MILESTONES: Alex Erskine marks 10 years with RWO, marking a career that has seen him go from engineer to Board director, involved in technical compliance for designs and pushing forward with workflows across the business, to continue to keep us ahead of the curve.

EGG-CELLENT NEWS: As part of our commitment to helping local communities, we donated dozens of chocolate Easter eggs to the Cramlington Foodbank and the Leeds South and East Foodbank. Emma Gibson, our administration manager, who is pictured above with Sue Coates, a volunteer at the Cramlington Foodbank said: We wanted to help and foodbanks are an essential part of our local communities. I’m thrilled that we have been able to contribute and we hope to have created some sweet happiness and well-being.”

15 YEARS IN BUSINESS: It may be hard to believe, but this year we mark 15-years in business. And to celebrate the occasion, the team are looking forward to enjoying some fun – and a few beers – in Dublin, Ireland. No doubt everyone will have a great time. Watch out for a report in the next edition of CONNECT.
