NEW FACES: Say hello to our new starters Andrew Doyle and Ben Gill (above left), who come in as senior structural engineer and senior structural technician respectively at our Seaton Burn office. The Leeds office is also boosted by the arrival of senior civil engineer Nabeel Arshad alongside newly appointed assistant civil engineer, Saif Rehman (above right). We also welcome Neil Jones, associate director in our Geotechnical Department, alongside Daniel Tansley, who comes in as a graduate geologist, and geoenvironmental engineer, Grace Bathie.

AUDIT SUCCESS: We have successfully completed our recertification audit for ISO 9001 – a globally recognised standard for quality management – following a thorough evaluation process that reaffirms our commitment to providing a high-quality service. Well done to all for your contributions – we were praised for demonstrating that our business control processes are robust and improved under the ISO 9001 certification.

KICKING-ON: And for those who might have missed it, we have sponsored a team at Wallsend Boys’ Club (former players include NUFC legends Alan Shearer and Peter Beardsley). Part of a work for affordable homes builder Vistry, we are delighted to be able to provide some much-needed kit and training equipment that’s been eagerly snapped up by the youngsters.

TOY STORY: We have donated toys to a number of local charities, including Project Santa on Tyneside (above left). These will be given to Newcastle families living on the poverty line to ensure local children will at least get a pressie this Christmas day. Also, the Leeds Children’s Charity has benefitted while the geotechnical team has given to the Teesside Charity. Thanks to you all for your support.
