We are providing a package of civil and structural engineering services for three BREEAM standard buildings and site infrastructure work, which will form part of the next phase of development at business park owner and operator Potter Space’s Droitwich site.
Coming as construction on the first phase of development is already underway, the new units, expected to be completed by spring 2023, will form part of Potter Space’s ambitious five-year plan to create upwards of 400,000 sq. ft. of high-quality industrial space on a 38-acre site close to the M5 motorway in Worcestershire.
The move follows extensive construction engineering services provided by RWO over the last 18 months to bring forward new industrial warehouse and logistics units across Yorkshire from the developer as it continues to grow its operations.
Andrew Fairburn, head of RWO’s Leeds office, said: “This is the latest success for us as we continue to partner with Potter Space, supporting their ambitious growth and national development plans. The work comes as we look forward to further success into next year and expand beyond the region on the back of strong pipeline of work.”
Jenna Strover, head of commercial delivery at Potter Space, said: “Our commitment to investing £18m to double the size of Droitwich over the next five years represents a major milestone for Potter Space in the Midlands. Working alongside our in-house construction team, the RWO team is an integral part in creating high quality industrial developments that are cost effective and delivered on time.”
