We have again made an egg-cellent donation this Easter, putting a smile on the face of local youngsters with some tasty treats.
One hundred Easter eggs from RWO have been donated to a North East charity called Smile for Life, which supports disabled and disadvantaged youngsters. Whether it is by providing equipment, experiences, short breaks, or even work placements for students in our Café Beam in Newcastle, the charity empowers young people to achieve their potential to live a full and happy life.
Our administration assistant Victoria Irwin called in to Café Beam – run by a team of youngsters with disabilities and learning difficulties – to hand over the tasty treats.
She said: “We wanted to help the charity, which does so much to support local youngsters at this time of year and help to improve their lives. We are delighted to be able to help in this way and hope that they enjoy their eggs.”
Hannah Wilcock, charity officer at Smile for Life, added: “We’re thankful for such a generous donation at this time of year. It’s just something really nice for the youngsters – tasty choccy treats that will brighten their day.”
