- Vistry Group: We are supporting the development of hundreds of new homes on Teesside in a deal that sees us providing civil and structural engineering services and expertise to construction and regeneration specialist Vistry Group, which is developing a new community of mixed tenure homes on a 73-acre site at Summerville Farm in Stockton (pictured above). The £80.6 million Summerville Farm project will protect 155 direct construction jobs and around 180 indirect and induced jobs in the local supply chain and with related services, throughout the eight-year build period. The work is part of RWO’s planned strategic growth of its civil, structural and ground engineering services throughout the North of England, where green shoots of recovery in the residential development sector continue to show.
- A partnership for growth: After working closely on several projects in the last three years, RWO and specialist data centre designers and architects Arc:ST have formed a new strategic partnership, building on their large-scale project success across the data centre design and development sector. The move is a natural progression for both companies, strengthening the civil, structural and ground engineering services, support and strategic insight provided to Black & White Engineering in Dubai and across other international markets, where demand for single-source MEP solutions can be underpinned by sector specific skills, experience and technical insight.
- In other work: A strong order book will see us provide engineering services and consultancy insight for more hospitals and healthcare facilities in the Midlands, South West England and the North East. We also continue to build on our work for Teesside architecture firm Create for data centre developers Latos Data Centre Ltd. We have also been out and about in the Yorkshire Dales undertaking rotary coring into bridge abutments to determine their build details prior to strengthening works and at our Teesside office, delivering training on Remediation of Shallow Mine Workings.
