Our ground engineering services has seen its best ever trading period with a strong pipeline of work into 2025. This is great news and reflects continued success for Chris Rudd and the team at the Stokesley office – they’re on target to achieve £1 million in revenues by 2026 with plans to recruit more people to join the team.

Growth has come on the back of a raft of new work won from major housebuilders and developers Persimmon Homes North East, Gleeson Homes, Vistry (North East & Yorkshire) and York based Mulgrave Properties as well as RWO Geotechnical’s first involvement in the Teesworks Freeport development and the data centre sector. Elsewhere, we continue to see high demand for our services and look forward to pushing ahead across all our operations in the next two years, working on a number of high profile new projects.

Congratulating Chris and the team, MD Ross Oakley said: “Work in the civil, structural and geoenvironmental engineering sector remains resilient across the board, particularly in the residential market as developers plan more starts. This is great news, contributing to additional growth, with a steady stream of work for the coming months and the recruitment of additional senior skills and talent to further boost our operations. The future’s looking bright. Merry Christmas and best wishes for 2025.”
