DUBLIN DELIGHT: It was cheers and beers all round after the RWO team headed to Ireland to celebrate 15-years in business. There were a few sore heads but great memories to match the fabulous Irish hospitality. “It was great to see everyone enjoying themselves and thanks for the memories team RWO. Here’s to the next 15 years and even more fun and success,” said Emma Gibson (pictured far left), who pulled the whole trip together (thanks Emma – ed).

FUN IN THE SUN: Well done to Matty Atkinson (above), who clearly had a great time completing the King Eddie Stair Challenge earlier in the summer, for the Tynemouth Volunteer Life Brigade. Hats off to him after completing a terrific 40 loops – over 13 gruelling miles – with elevation gain 2,330 feet in scorching temperatures.
NEW FACES AND PROMOTIONS: Phil Brown has joined the Geoenvironmental Department as Associate Director while we also welcome John Haruna as a Graduate Structural Engineer, and Apprentice Structural Technician Daniel Hogg to the team. In other developments, Ronnie Lamb has been promoted to Principal Engineer while Matthew Atkinson takes on the Lead Structural Engineer role and Callum Webster steps up to Senior Structural Engineer. MD Ross Oakley said: “We are delighted to welcome Phil, John and Daniel and wish them all the best in their careers with us. Also, well done to Ronnie, Matthew and Callum, who have also stepped up and seen their careers go from strength-to-strength at RWO.”
